RULES

How to play the game of Kabaddi:

• The type of Kabaddi played in Punjab is "Amaar" Kabaddi.

• The raider has 30 seconds to touch a stopper and come back.

• Stepping out of bounds results for a point for the opposing team

• A raider may only be touched by 1 person if the stopper decides to make a move

• Substances such as water or oil can't be appiled on the body

• A raider may choose to tap after a stopper has secured him/her and the raider finds no chance of escape.

• Slapping has it's limitation and failure to comply results in a yellow card.

• Match may be split in 2, 20 minute halves or 4 quaters.
